For Teens (Under 18)
- Minimum age for permit: 15
- Parent-Taught (PTDE) or driving school options
- 32 hours of classroom instruction
- 44 hours behind-the-wheel (14 with instructor)
- Impact Texas Drivers (ITD) course required
For Adults (18-24)
- Must complete adult driver's education course

Written Test
